The latest Zite Manager release introduces key enhancements, including updates to Case Information management, Site-in-Region Validation built into the site creation form, performance optimizations, and various additional fixes across the platform.

Site-in-Region Validation

To further help projects ensure alignment between sites and regions, Zite Manager now automatically validates the alignment of site locations with their assigned regions during site creation and editing.

How it Works:

  • On the site creation or editing page, once a Region is selected and a location is mapped (via map or coordinates), Zite automatically checks if the site location falls within the assigned region.

  • If the location falls outside the region, users receive an immediate warning message:
    “The location you have mapped does not fall within the selected region.”

Confirmation for Out-of-Region Sites: If attempting to save a site outside the selected region, users see a confirmation dialog:

  • Save / Save Outside Region: Confirm and proceed with saving the site.

  • Cancel / Adjust Location: Return to adjust the site's location.

Region Visualization:

  • The selected region's boundaries (polygon or multipolygon) now appear directly on the site creation map.

  • The map automatically zooms to the selected region’s extent for clearer visualization.

Case Information Update

  • The Reason field has moved from the Tags section to Case Information.

  • Updated user interface on the Case Information detail page for easier navigation and usability.

  • Creation of duplicate reasons is prevented.

Performance Optimizations

The following areas now feature significantly faster load times and improved responsiveness:

  • Role Assignments: Quicker assignment of roles to users at both project and site levels.

  • User Profiles: Faster loading of default and custom user profile fields.

  • Project List: Improved speed when fetching the project list.

  • Project Details: Faster rendering within the project dashboard.

  • Task Lists: Enhanced load speed in My Dashboard, Project Dashboard, and Site Dashboard task lists.

  • Nested Site List: Optimized retrieval of nested site hierarchies.

  • Task Dropdown: Improved responsiveness when selecting sites for tasks.

  • Reports: Site, Case, and User Reports APIs optimized for faster performance.

Other Improvements and Fixes

General Platform

  • Bulk Review: Column header 'Remarks' renamed to 'Upload Summary.'

  • QR Submission:

    • Added Site Type and Site Status columns to Excel downloads.

    • Improved QR file naming conventions within compressed folders.

  • Email Invitations: All invited users now clearly listed under the 'Invited Users' tab.

  • Multi-tab Handling: Improved management of multiple openings within a single browser tab.

  • Contact Information: Lists now sorted alphabetically in cascading order.

  • API Requests: Eliminated duplicate API requests.

  • Bulk Upload and Update: Fixed progress bar and upload/update status display issues.

  • Notifications: Improved clarity of task notification titles.

  • Workflow: Added visible creation and update dates for workflows.

  • Project Information: Removed redundant 'Teams' dropdown during project detail editing.
